Privacy Policy

In short: we only keep what we need to process your files, and we delete them as soon as possible.

Files you upload

• Files are sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
• Your files and results are deleted automatically after 60 minutes.
• Results can only be downloaded through a link containing a secret token that is given only to you.
• Files are processed automatically by software. Nobody reads their contents, and we never share or sell your files.

PDF passwords

Passwords for Protect PDF and Unlock PDF are only used while processing the file. They are never stored in our database or logs.

Data we keep

To prevent abuse and keep the service stable, we record the following for each task:

• The tool used, the number and size of files, and the task status.
• Your IP address, for the daily usage limit.
• When the task was created and finished.

The result file name is kept only while the file can be downloaded, and is cleared when the file is deleted. The rest of the record is deleted after 30 days.

Accounts and cookies

AlatPDF does not require an account and does not use tracking cookies.
